Until a day or two day ago, Captain Spectre was merely a character on a radio show. Then a mysterious man appeared and began to combat criminals - he was a real life Captain Spectre.

One criminal gang took a cook and his son prisoners, to set a trap for Captain Spectre in a warehouse. Some kids from Captain Spectre’s fan club - the Junior Legionnaires - also went to the warehouse. They wanted to assist their hero.

Captain Spectre showed up to save the prisoners, but the criminals had another surprise. A mechanical metal man attacked and flew up into the sky with Captain Spectre. High above the warehouse, a blast filled the sky. Captain Spectre is history ... or is he?
