resilient South American woman named Laura Cruz. She later became
the very English hero, Lara Croft.

turned down the
role of Lara Croft in the 2001 Tomb Raider movie.

featured

10. British city, Derby -
previous home to Core Design - now
has a road called Lara Croft Way. It was opened in 2010 following a public vote.
