Card Games
Circuits is a card game for practising grammar. You can play alone, or with a group of friends.

There are 48 cards in the pack, featuring your favourite characters from Grammarman comic.

How to play:

Begin by taking ANY card from the pack at random. Each card has a question and three possible answers for you to choose from.

When you decide which answer is correct, the card will tell you which numbered card you should go to next.

Find the next card in the pack, and place it to the right of the first card. You now have a new question and three more possible answers.

Answer the new question and move to the third card. Keep going like this, arranging the cards as shown here, until you have placed eight cards in a complete circuit.

If you have answered each question correctly, the answer on your last card should link to the number of your first card. In other words, you should have a complete 'circuit', with each card linking to the next.

If the last card doesn't have an answer which links to the first, then you've made a mistake somewhere. You will need to trace your steps back, try to decide which answer is wrong and choose a different answer.
When you have successfully made a complete circuit, put that set of eight cards to one side.

You can now continue the game by taking any card from the remaining pack and starting a new circuit.

From the 48 cards in the pack, you should be able to make 6 complete sets (circuits).

Students can play in teams and race against each other. Each team has a pack of 48 cards, and everyone starts at the same time. The first team to make a circuit wins. For a longer game, play until one team wins by making 6 complete circuits (using every card in the pack).
